ชิโฮโตะ นาริกะ ลูกสาวเศรษฐี ได้ตามรบกวนและไล่กวดประเค็นความรักให้กับนักเรียนแลกเปลี่ยนโรงเรียนจูโฮ อิกุซาเบะ ทากามารุ แทบทุกวัน แล้ววันหนึ่ง ทากามารุ ได้ตกหลุมรักสาวน้อยคนนึง
ชื่อของเธอคือ ทากาโมริ ฮารุกะ
คืนนั้น ทากามารุและนาริกะได้ถูกกลุ่มนินจาลึกลับทำร้าย ในขณะที่ทั้ง2คนอยู่ช่วงวิกฤตก็ได้มีใครบ้างคนปรากฏตัวในชุดครอส นั้นก็คือฮารุกะ ซึ่งฮารุกะเองก็ได้มองเห็นพลังที่คล้ายหัวหน้าในตัวทากามารุเพื่อจัดการสูญเสียความสามารถในการควบคุมตัวเองได้ และทากามารุจึงเข้าร่วมกลุ่มนินจาผดุงความยุติธรรมในชื่อว่า ประกายแสงจันทร์ ซึ่งมีหน้าที่มอบพลังริวรินโกะ(พลังราคะ/วงแหวนมังกร)ให้เมื่อสูญเสียความสามารถในการควบคุมตัวเอง พลังริวรินโกะของทากามารุจะสามารถเอาชนะเมื่อเวลาที่ฮารุกะเพรี้ยงพร้ำได้หรือไม่ และนั้นเป็นเพียงการเริ่มต้นของต่อสู้อันยาวนาน...
